Sealegs 9m Amphibious boat to Feature at Paris Boat Show
Expanding its leadership in the amphibious boat market, the world's largest amphibious boat company today announced it will be showing its largest model at the Paris boat show.
After a successful launch in the Southern Hemisphere, the new 9m amphibious boat will be available for the first time for Europeans to experience. The new Sealegs 9m boat joins the existing range of 6m and 7m boats.
Sealegs blends the science of its amphibious technology with exceptional on-water performance to deliver the ultimate boating experience, whether that be seamless access from a waterfront property, rapid response to an emergency or unparalleled mobility in urban floodwaters. Sealegs amphibious boats are prized by operators in over 50 countries and well in excess of 1000 amphibious boat have been produced and delivered by the company over the past 15 years.
Sealegs growth in the European market took a large step forward in 2018 with the successful collaboration with its fellow FMS group company, Sillinger. Showcased at Euronaval 2018, the Rafael 765 with Sealegs provided a glimpse at the future of a new breed of professional boat, one which will allow law enforcement and military users a best-of-breed heavy duty RHIB with the capability to launch in seconds or to deploy personnel beyond a beachhead.
The Sealegs 7.1m Sport RIB will also be on display, a boat loved by many users on the tidally swept beaches of Normandy and Brittany. Those existing customers (and commercial users including the French Coastguard) will have the opportunity to view the latest release from Sealegs. Due to popular demand in France and throughout Europe, Sealegs latest and largest release will be on display to the public for nine days only during the Paris boat show.
